Comments

"This chapbook is a collaborative class project which describes the origins of the Scripps College Press. It is based upon an excellent talk given by Judy Harvey Sahak on February 8 1992 at the 5oth anniversary of the founding of the Press." Much of the material presented is based on the correspondence of Frederick W. Goudy and Dorothy Drake. Goudy designed the Press's Scripps College Old Style type. This copy signed by Dorothy Drake at the conclusion of K. J. Maryatt's introduction; Judy Harvey Sahak signs on page 25; K. J. Maryatt signs on page 27; Penelope Willard, Natalie Hamner, and Reika Go sign the colophon. This number 73 in an edition of 95 copies.
