Comments

Beautifully conceived and executed paean to this region of southern Greece. Swisher's photographs, primarily of the countryside in the province of Laconia, were made with a 4 x 5 field camera during the years 1984-1995. The platinum-palladium prints are contact printed on Crane's 90-pound business card stock, each signed and numbered by the photographer. Text is printed in ATF Garamond and ATF Garamond Italic with Hadriano Stonecut for display titles on Rives Heavyweight paper. Edition limited to 60 copies, 12 not for sale. This #26, signed by the author/photographer. Additionally, this copy is signed by the binder, L. J. Dillon, and printer, Robert Dickover.
