George Concepcion Yount (1794-1865) was one of the first Americans to settle in California. After a long career as trapper, explorer, trailblazer, he obtained a land grant in the Napa Valley in 1836; he was the first white settler there. Limited to 1250 copies, printed by Lawton and Alfred Kennedy.
