Louis C. Untermeyer (1885-1977) was an American poet, editor, anthologist and critic. He published the anthologies "Modern American Poetry" and "Modern British Poetry," first editions published in 1919 and 1920, respectively, and both having multiple subsequent editions. This letter apparently in response to a request from Untermeyer to include some of Coppard's work in the 1925 edition of "Modern British Poetry." Coppard lists several of his books along with their publishers and publication dates. He concludes the letter with a brief, but humorous autobiographical summary.
