ORIGINAL HOLOGRAPH MANUSCRIPT OF THE SHORT STORY "LUXURY."

The pencil draft of "Luxury" shows quite a bit of editing to the text, including a first title "Fine Ripe Bananas" lined out at top of first page. Luxury was published in Coppard's third book "The Black Dog and Other Stories" in 1923; "Jewel of Jeopardy" appeared in 1925 in "The Fishmonger's Fiddle." From the library of John K. Martin (of Black Sparrow Press) with his small exlibris label to inside of folder.
