This Richard Gump's copy with his small ink stamp to back of front free endpaper and embossed stamp to bottom of title page. Gump's San Francisco retail store was founded in 1861 by Solomon and Gustav Gump. Richard Gump ran the business from 1947 to 1975. Following his retirement the business was sold several times and finally liquidated in 2018.
