Believed to date from the second decade of the 14th century and acquired by Queen Mary I in 1553, this lavishly illustrated psalter is believed to be the work of a single artist working in London and now known only as "the Queen Mary Master." The entire work is reproduced here in (monochrome) photolithographic facsimile.
