Anne Isabelle Thackeray Ritchie (1837-1919) was the eldest daughter of William Makepeace Thackeray. The Oxford Companion to English Literature, Fifth Edition, notes that she wrote "novels of an impressionistic kind which influenced her step-niece Virginia Woolf."
