Worcester, Mass: Mills Belt Company, (1915). Original edition. Dark gray printed wrappers, 9 x 6 inches, 21 pp., profusely illustrated with high-quality reproductions from photographs. About fine. Item #22412
Catalog of woven canvas belts, haversacks, rucksacks, pouches, holsters, etc. The "Mills Woven Cartridge Belt" was invented in 1877 by Brig.-Gen. (Ret.) Anson Mills. This catalog apparently marks a transition in the company's name from "Mills Woven Cartridge Belt Company" to "Mills Belt Company" as the words "Woven Cartridge" have been obscured from the name with black marking pen at every instance of their occurance. 2 copies found on OCLC/Worldcat.
