Neatly respined, minor wear to covers, light foxing to first couple pages, map somewhat darkened at folds, a few short tears at several fold intersections, overall about very good. Item #22096

Imprint above is from title page. Copyright-page notice is dated 1864. Edition statement above is from cover, which bears the imprint of "Golden & Sammons, No. 1 South Clark St. Chicago, Ill." and with the date "1865" below the edition statement. No copy thus is found on OCLC/Worldcat. The history/timeline commences on Dec.17, 1860 with the meeting of the South Carolina Convention and ends on Sept. 26, 1864 with the Union Army under the command of General Sheridan occupying Staunton, Virginia. The large handcolored map (E. R. Jewett & Co. Engravers, Buffalo, NY, 1863) of the Southern States (with South Florida as an inset) shows battlefield sites circled in red, borders outlined in green.
