Loose_leaf. 67 albumen photographic prints, 22.5 x 28 cm on slightly larger card mounts, with 2-piece green cloth "case" stamped "Aegypten I" in gilt on top piece and with with 4 brass-rimmed slots for ribbon ties near corners of both top and bottom pieces. 53 images show Egyptian monuments, tombs, hieroglyphics, excavation sites etc., 14 are photos of people, interiors of churches, etc. Most images are signed and/or captioned in the negative, many with pencil captions (in German) and numbering on mounts: 37 by Zangaki, 10 Arnoux, 3 Lekegian, 2 Sebah, 5 unsigned, 10 illegible. A few images faded, mounts are moderately bowed, 2 mounts with nibbling to edge, green cloth case retouched and with most of ribbons gone. Good. Item #21812
