A keepsake printed in commemoration of the centenary of William Morris' birth. 350 copies printed at the Grabhorn Press for distribution to members of the Book Club of California. The single sheet printed in 2 columns with large decorative initial, printing notice printed in red. Text consists of a note on the Kelmscott types, the design of the Kelmscott Chaucer, and an explanation of the double-sheet keepsake. The keepsake compares on facing pages a single column trial sheet of the Chaucer printed from Morris' modified Gothic "Troy" type (Edwin Grabhorn owned the original trial sheet), and on the opposing sheet printed in 2 columns from the cut-down version of Troy that became the Kelmscott Chaucer type. Text is from "The Knight's Tale." Graborn Press Bibliography #216.
