"Yangtze Remembered is a portrait of the Yangtze River and its people before, during, and after the completion of the Three Gorges Dam." Nearly 1.3 million people were displaced and more than 300 miles of the Yangtze River Valley were submerged by the reservoir behind the dam. This volume is the result of 8 trips to the region made by author and photographer Linda Butler between 2000 and 2003. Autographed by Linda Butler on the half title page.
